What is a Fade Haircut?

A Fade Haircut is a style of haircut that changes in length throughout the haircut. It is not all buzzed the same size, multiple guard sizes are used to make the haircut blend together. We have been providing the Tampa area with the most quality fade haircuts for the last 10 years and look forward to servicing you as well.

What are the different types of Fade Haircut?

Primarily, a fade haircut can be broken up into 4 categories based on how high up the hair transition goes.

1. Taper Fade

A taper fade is a fade haircut that has a short amount of fade (hair transition) length. It is a fade that only goes up slightly around the sideburns and neck. View some pictures below of what a taper fade haircut looks like. We would love to show you what we can do. Feel free to visit us or give us a call anytime.

2. Low Fade

A low fade is a style of haircut that the hair transition continues higher on the head than taper fade. It continues about a third of the way up the side of your head.

3. Mid Fade

A mid fade (like it sounds) goes about halfway up the head. It is a clean look that does not seem to be going out of style anytime soon. View pictures of the mid fade haircut below:

4. High Fade

A high fade continues up the side of the head higher than the other styles. The top can be cut short to blend with the highest guard or it can be left long. The high fade is a timeless cut and will be in style for a long time to come.
